Celebrating our 40th Anniversary in 2009!

Welcome to Flotilla 14-8. As Flotilla
Commander, I am proud to represent the United States Coast Guard
Auxiliary and in particular the members of our flotilla.
We have some of the best qualified members for the purpose of
public education and boating safety of any of the Auxiliary
membership across the country. We recently produced an
educational video that is being used nationwide to make people
in the boating community aware of the necessity for purchasing
and using life jackets, or PFDs (personal flotation devices).
|
| We are participating in many of the areas of
marine public safety such as safe boating classes, vessel exams,
program visitation, on the water operations and marine safety. . If you are interested in finding out more about the Auxiliary please explore our website. If you would like to attend a meeting to see how we conduct business and provide educational opportunities to our members you are welcome. We meet on the first Tuesday of each month at the Florida Tackle and Gun Club in Mandarin. Our recruiter is Charles Smith and I would encourage you to contact him for further information. The Auxiliary is proud of its tradition of being the Nations Volunteer Lifesavers. Why not be a part of this proud tradition? |
