Welcome Members Of Flotilla 14-8

Flotilla Commander - Jeff Blomgren
Flotilla Commander
Jeff Blomgren

2010 is going to be a year of challenge for every auxiliary flotilla.  With the current threat levels and the increasing threat from domestic extremists it is important for every American to be aware of what this country stands for and the opportunity for freedom we provide to the people of every country.

As part of the Homeland Security Team and the United States Coast Guard, we are no longer “weekend recreational boaters” simply using Coast Guard funds to propel our boats.

Our current role is of an all volunteer uniformed force multiplier for the active Coast Guard.  As such we take part in many of the Active Coast Guard areas of obligation including watch standing, public education and patrols and inspections.

Anyone with a willing spirit and time to spare is welcome to be part of this very worthwhile mission.  You can find out more about becoming a part of the 2009 National and Division Award Winning Flotilla 14-8 membership by contacting our website or calling me, Jeff Blomgren Flotilla Commander 14-8 at 904-535-9055

"It is wonderful when the people believe in their leader: but it is more wonderful when the leader believes in the people." John Maxwell
